Heterogeneous Database Transfer Seal Management System Realization

With the development of database technologies, the government and enterprise informatization has made a lot of progress in recent years. To utilize the resources stored in heterogeneous databases, government and enterprise urgently need to integrate the several systems distributed in different places. One of the most important problems in system integration is the data exchange and data transmission. The technologies for data exchange and data transmission are the foundation of communication between application systems. However, the present technologies have many problems when directly applied to heterogeneous environments, such as heavy coupling, high cost, implementary complexity, etc.On the basis of the application of the Guodun Seal Data Information Management System, this dissertation deals with the designing and developing of the Web Access and Data Transmission (respectively for internet and intranet) of this system by using ADO.NET to access database under the .NET platform and therefore accomplishes the transmission of data among heterogeneous database (mainly are Oracle,SQL Server,Access in this system). To sum up, the achievements of this dissertation are as following:(1)Accomplished the general method by using ADO.NET to access heterogeneous database and thus provided excellent interface for the other modules of the Guodun Seal Data Information Management System.(2)Designed and accomplished a solution for the data transmission of internet by using the technique of Web Service.(3)Resolved the problem of how to deploy multiple tasks of database and automatically proceed transmission within the intranet by using the technique of XML and the service of Windows.This thesis may be referenced when sharing and translation of heterogeneous database are built.
