Nms Snmp-based Private Network Design And Development

Along with the rapid development of computer network technology and communication technology, network had been increasingly applied in every aspect of country economy departments and social life. In order to assume the reliability and smooth of networks, and make sure network information can be transmitted in reliable and high efficient, we must manage the network effectively.There are so many products of network management software all over the world. However, they are almost all universal network management platforms with different user-orient networks, which may not satisfy special users'demand or need high price beyond users'ability. Further more, in some key department, such as army, government and research institution, safety is a big problem. So the developments of network management systems aim at special computer networks make practical sense.This paper aims at the need of special communication network's network management in certain department of liberate army, finishes collectivity design of the network management system for this special network based on Simple Network Management Protocol, and describes the two keys to achieve this system, viz. database design and network topology search function design.Firstly, introduce the basic conceptions of network management, and describe the relevant theories of Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). Then design function modules and collectivity structure of network management system, aiming at functions need of special network management.Secondly, study on relevant theories of Management Information Base and Management Information Structure, and combine with the actual need of system functions to classify the MIB objects needed. According to storage requirement of relative data in this system, analyze and design the system database. Based on demand analysis of system network topology search functions, research the network topology search technology. Design multiple network topology search modes based on user choice, and propose concrete algorithms to achieve this function.Finally, this paper presents part achieved functions of special network management system, and give some system application examples.Now, this special network management system had been accepted, and be applied to the test special network. The performance of system is all right, and achieves the basic expected goal.
