The competition between enterprises includes the competition of product service and the competition of business process. The competition of product service focus on the strategy of operation, providing the correct combination between products for the customer. The competition of business process focus on establishing the organizational structure and mechanism to guarantee that providing the high value service to the customer by providing product in the right time and at the right place. The guidance of organization's strategic are the recognition of customer (including latent customer) and operation objectives, and the rapid reaction. Therefore, the enterprise must carries on the optimization and the reorganization to its business process or the workflow system to gain the more competitive advantages.The dissertation is based on the theory of metagraphs, researches the system of the manufacturing industry workflow management with the analysis tools and methods of the workflow system, and has given a formal modelling and the analysis method of the manufacturing industry workflow management which is based on the metagraphs and established the logistics and information flow model of the manufacturing industry. Then, the dissertation researches the information flow of the manufacturing industry using the attributes of metagraphs, and researches an example of the manufacturing industry workflow. In a word, the prime work of the dissertation is as follows:First: Distinguished the logistics and information workflow of the manufacturing industry; established the formal model of the two workflows of the manufacturing industry which is based on the metagraphs. The result indicated that this model has not only the ability of visualization analysis as the conventional model, but also the ability of formal analysis which the conventional model does not have.Second: Researched the relationship between the informations, the tasks and the resources among the manufacturing industry workflows using the attributes of metagraphs, such as the adjacency matrix and its closure, the simple path, the metapath, the dominant metapath, the TIM, the RIM and so on.The result indicated that this method has solved the problem which were produced in the process of interactions of workflow management components. Third: According to several theorems of the metagraphs, the paper researched the synthesis and decomposition of the manufacturing industry processe susing the attributes of metagraphs such as connectivity, redundancy, independence and so on. The result indicated that this method could effectively remove the redundant parts of the process and enhance the manageability of the workflow.
