With the development of science and technology, the applications of technology of computer and Digital image processing in woven fabric are more and more popular. On the research of woven fabric, different approaches and systems have been developed to represent the woven geometry models, and different models have been developed according to different applications, such as circular, lenticular, racetrack, and so on. But in fact the yarn can deform all kinds of shapes, the above-mentioned models don't satisfy all applications. For this reason we need a universal model to satisfy all applications. In this paper, we first improve the Asymptotic Iterative Approximation of Intellectualized Periodic Interpolating Algorithm, changing the definition forms of B-Spline base functions, raising working efficiency; and then integrate Computer Graphics and Differential Geometry to create an irregular cross-sections model. It is extension for the circular, lenticular, racetrack. In practical applications we can obtain all kinds of cross-sections by adjusting the dynamic parameters according to need. Finally we develop a 3D simulation system with the OpenGL image functions database, which provide a generic and effective platform for the construction of geometrical models relevant to woven fabric with 3D microstructure, and it includes fabric structure design, yarn path design, yam cross-section design, properties calculation and so on. Using the system can shorten the developing period, reduce expenses and raise efficiency.
