The low-light-level video processor system has significant value both in military area and in civil area. The image processing technology which is centered about high-speed digital signal processor (DSP) can significantly improve the image quality under low-light-level, and become an important branch of video processing system research.With the rapid improvement of DSP, and the development of various video image processing systems, the new system of processing low-light-level is introduced in this thesis. On the base of the study about the hardware-realizing scheme of low-light-level video processor centered about DSP, the system software is designed primarily on this thesis. The main content of the thesis is designing and realizing the total scheme and frame of system. Realizing interrupts with the language of C and assembly language, boot modes selection and configuration are completed, and various image processing algorithms are utilized by the image processing library.After through comprehend the real-time kernel of DSP/BIOS, the driver of video processing is developed. In the end the thesis analyzes the noise model of the image in low-light-level environment and experiment with some typical image processing algorithm on the DSP. The images get by the system show that its overall technical scheme is feasible, and can effectively achieve the progress of image capture, process and display, and the image after processed can achieve the expected aim.
