Radial sand ridge is huge.The terrain is unique.Hydrodynamic condition is complex,and suspended sediment concentration is high.It is the first time to apply visible remote sensing technology of water depth to such a large area,suspended sediment concentration of high waters. The paper takes Lanshayang Channel in radial sand ridge as a study object.It builds suspended sediment remote-sensing model with in-situ measured suspended sediment concentration and the Beijing-1 and MODIS Image data.The paper selects the concentration suspended parameter,then establishes water depth of remote sensing models based on the parameter of suspended sediment. The conclusions as follows:(1)Two remote-sensing models of sediment establishment and parameters selection.The paper establishes suspended sediment concentration models with the Beijing-1 and MODIS images,then analyzes the two models.It is found that MODIS SSC model is higher precise,the sediment parameter Xs=M2×M5 is the most sensitive to SSC.(2)The depth sensitive factor of Beijing-1 image selection.It analyzes the relationship between combination of image-band and water depth,and finds that the correlation coefficient of B3+B4 is the best,so selects B3+B4 as a depth sensitive factor of Beijing-1.(3)The impact of suspended sediment concentration on water depth model.Blue light has strong penetration capability in the water.It selects blue-band as the depth factor;then introduces remote sensing parameters Xs,analyzes the impact of suspended sediment concentration on different terrain(sand ridges,deep troughs).(4)MODIS depth model of remote sensing establishment based on the parameters.The introduction of Xs to establish depth model of remote-sensing,can weaken the impact of suspended sediment and improve the accuracy of models.The average absolute error descends from 3.26m to 1.52m,relative error from 39 percent to 24 percent.(5)The comparative analysis of image data for two water depth models.The resolution of Beijing-1 is higher,but accuracy of the model is relatively low.MODIS depth of remote sensing model is higher precise,the spatial resolution is satisfied 1:250 000 topographic map.MODIS depth of remote-sensing model is more reasonable.
