Customization And Improvement Of The Workflow Engine, And In Webgis Applications

During the development of computer and Internet,workflow management system emerges as the times require because of the information automatization and non-paper transact in the enterprise. It can integrate the resources of inner part and exterior part, realize distributed management and listen in all kinds of process. And workflow engine is its kernel module whose performance decides the running efficiency and transplant possibility of the whole system. Meanwhile, because the workflow system based on C/S structure can't carry out distributed management availably when used on internet, enterprise also need to customize workflow engine based on B/S and design a solution about web.The thesis introduces the correlative conception and technology of workflow and discusses the customization and improvement of workflow engine. After making reference to the workflow module which is put forward by WfMC (Workflow Management Coalition), we design a full solution to realize workflow management system by using and analyzing various correlative workflow engine technologies in .NET reasonably. This solution is based on the actual business management in the enterprise, and tries to achieve the best efficiency of running and developing, also safety, transplant and retractility of workflow management system based on B/S. The main results are as follows:1. Combine the main factor of business process to design a relation type database and make sure each module of workflow, then customize the model of workflow engine.2. Develop the workflow management system based on .NET by using ASP.NET to write page and using WebService to call remote service interface and operate a great deal data with no-seam transaction. So we can realize the communication between each module and the business process has been appropriately dealt with.3. According to AJAX technology in Web2.0 and the lately- released WorkFlow Foundation in Framework3.0, we improve the originally interface and function to achieve the partial refresh of page and the more convenient customization of workflow engine. Now the users can enjoy a brand-new experience. 4. Use this workflow engine in the actual WebGIS system application and show the effects of every function and page layout with integrated analysis, testing and comparison. At last, we look forward the future development of workflow technology.
