In the need of modernization construct, the data transmitted in communication systems become faster and faster. How to solve the problem of "Last One Mile" is a hot issue of the researches on network technologies. DSL technology makes a full use of current resources of copper lines, and its advantage is low cost, high performance and so on. So people are more and more focusing their attention on DSL technology. However, general DSL systems are not optimized for particular environment. In this particular environment, the DSL systems can't transmit the maximum data rate. On this background, we should research a new DSL system optimized for this environment. To enhance the bit rate of DSL systems in this environment, we choose DMT modulation. After carefully compare the current common algorithms, we finally adopt a greedy algorithm based on water-pouring distribution to accomplish subchannel bit allocation and a LMS TEQ algorithm based on MMSE. Meanwhile, we find the IFFT/FFT processor is the key factor for the precision of the DMT system, so we choose radix-2~2 and CORDIC algorithm, and SPDF structure to realize our IFFT/FFT processor based on FPGA.
