As an efficient data analyzing technique, data mining aims at exrtacting potentical information behind large data, which can provide powerful evidence for making decision. It will have very important practice application value to know how to use data mining technique to analyze existing large data.The paper is targeted for realizing the choice optimization of the training resourse and training pattern in Army officer ability training system of China. Firstly, the paper put forward a problem: the status and shortcoming of army officer ability training resourse and training pattern. Secondly built the Army officer ability training system and depicted the main structure and function of the system. Thridly integrated the theory foundation and application of DM, the paper mainly analysed the theory, method and realizing technique of classification and clustering. The main content include process model of DM, data preprocess and general algrithm of classification and clustering. Finally, the paper mainly analyse the problem of the system, and put forward improved scheme. The choice of training resource and training patern is optimized using classification and clustering algrithm, which can mining data about existing training resourse and training patern to discover rules expecting to forecast unknow dataMain research work of this paper showed as follows:1. build the Army officer ability training system, and dipict the main function and the implementing method in brief.2. Introduce the general classification algrithm of D M-decision tree algrithm, have a systemic summarize and compare classic decision tree algrithm, As far as the limitation of classic decision tree, fuzzy decision tree is introduced Based on the particular research of the fuzzy decision tree, a new method is presented—fuzzy gini coefficent algorithm. Based on the limitation of the algrithm a improved K-mearis is presented, and compared the function of them which prove the advantage of the latter.3. Based on the classification and clustering algrithm illustrated in this paper, a optimized scheme of training resourse and training pattern choice in army officer ability training system is proposed, which can be used to analyse and forecast unknow dataThe paper aimed at above research contents, put up a lot of experiment research and demonsrtation. The results are right basicly, which express the theories, methods and techniques in this paper, and the optimized scheme can provide leading function on certain extent, and it will have some practical applacation in future.
