The Geographical Information System (GIS) is a computing system which includes spatial database management system and analysis system. Great accomplishments of GIS have been achieved in recent forty years, and have been widely used in city planning, land utilization, public traffic and so on. Recently, the application of GIS in exploiting mine is digital mine. The model of mine information is been established using mine information by build a three-dimensional reference system in the scope of mine to describe the all information of mine. The benefit of using three-dimensional reference system is that searches and display are all effectively, expediently and intuitively. So it can make correlative persons known all the information of mine fast, accurately and completely.The energy structure of our country is made primarily of coal. The safety information of mine is actively, dynamic and closely relate with spatial location. Prediction and prevention is a systems engineering which involves huge information, so a scientific and efficient management of safety information plays an important in it. Compare with developed nations we have gap: 1) low mechanization, 2) low technology content, 3) low budget of scientific research, 4) low comprehensive quality of employed person, 5) low safe practice and equipment. So, GIS be applied to mine can change these disadvantages. The most of GIS in or out national suit the application of larger mine. But there are many small medium mine in Yunnan province, and the GIS software suit this mine is not yet appear. The purpose of this thesis is develop a GIS software to suit small medium mine of Yunnan province.The purpose of this project develop a mining plan drawing system based on GIS to provide detailed and reliable graphics for all departments of a mine using VectorDraw which based on component technology and object-oriented programming. The method of three-dimensional roadway building based on analyses and compares main existing three-dimensional model is presented in this thesis, and common functions needed in mining plan drawing is also discussed. These research results lay the solid foundation for building the GIS of mine. The project of the thesis has strong the practical background and friendly user interface. So the results have Practical Engineering value and popularize value.
