After some time, hot-line news departments were set up. Hot-line news grew quickly. However, hot-line news doesn't keep every clue for news production; it also needs to pass through tight gates placed by "gatekeepers" to get to public communication field. Nevertheless, there are differences between gate keeping of hot-line news and ordinary news. This paper intends to summarize the development of hot-line news, and analyze the anomie of the hot-line news gate keeping, such as false news increasing, vulgarity, and similarity of contents. Then it will summarize the reasons for the anomie, and find ways to tackle the anomie, such as training the phone call operators, checking the facts more seriously, and establishing appropriate morality of media.
