Home Automation System Based On The Public Telephone Network (pstn)

Modern information technology with computer and network technology not onlypromotes the development of the economic but also speeds up the development of thehome automation system greatly. The aim of building home automation system is to meetthe needs of modern information society with respect to automated electronic products.On the basis of the study and analysis in home automation current status ofdevelopment home and abroad, using Public Switched Telephone Network(PSTN) as thesystematic communication network, regarding PC as the systematic control platform, andhow to construct a low cost, simply operation, and fast home automation is studied. Afteranalyzing in detail about the overall function of the system, a designing plan of thesystematic interface module of hardware is provided. While the problem is analyzed in thedesigning process, the concrete solution is also provided. Then the public phonecommunication is realized, the transmission of long-range control signal and automaticalarm signal of the home electrical appliances is achieved, the security of the system is alsostudied, and the scheme is proposed. Finally management data-base of the systemdesigning is studied, including Call ID for caller indentification data-base and work state ofhome electrical appliances data-base.Finally, summarize whole subject research, have put forward the deficiency existingin the systematic design and improvement direction, and has looked into the distance to thework for the future.
