Software architecture constructs the foundation which computer software practices.traditional 2-tier architecture (C/S model) has some disadvantage of big client and discommodious maintenance and update,with the enlargement of enterprise business and the request of Internet development,this blocked the enterprise's module duplication..The three-tier/multi-tier frame promotes the flexibility and performance of software,so it has been the popular frame in software developing at present.At present, .NET platform and J2EE platform are all popular three-tier/multi-tier frames,they all give some guidance and criterion in design,integrity,performance, security of multi-tier appliance.J2EE platform gains more applications by its migratory,open,security and performance advantage.This issue gives introduce and compare to the software developing frames,by studying J2EE platform deeply,it shows the advantages of J2EE platform.It gives the theory foundation of J2EE platform,including technologies and design patterns.Based on the J2EE theory and university bite and sup employment requirement,I designed and developed the Bite and Sup Management System.Firstly, this thesis introduce software architecture and its phylogeny, moreover introduces J2EE architecture and its enterprise application, discusses the structure, type and invoking method of EJB which is the core component of J2EE. Then this thesis analyses, designs and developes logistics management system for the food center of the some college on J2EE architecture with Rational Unified Process, on this condition, implement all service function with IBM WebSphere Application Server and test it's t performance.
