As a high and new technology Virtual Reality has been applied in many fields, such as aerospace and chemical industry, and so on. The technology of Virtual Reality has contributed a lot to enhancing the products'quality, reducing the loss and saving the outlay. One important implementation of this novel technology is to emulate the numerical control system. Along with the popularization of high and new technology and vocational education, accrediting bodies of professional skills are seeking for new methods for examining the professional skills. The software of the examination of numerical-controlled skills is a new approach using computer simulation technology, which is used to measure the NC machine operators'professional skills.First, the thesis introduces the implementation and the overall structure of the emulated numeral-controlled system, which is the core of the examination system . Second, the thesis summarizes the existing automatic grading approach in the simulation operation examination. It also analyzes the unreasonable sections in the existing approach. Then, we put forward and implement a new automatic grading scheme. The main feature of this scheme is to set detecting points automatically based on the geometrical characteristic of the curved surfaces in workpiece. Finally, we give a corresponding grading model, and do a contrastive analysis between the existing and the new approach. The new grading scheme makes the automatic grading process more objective, accurate and reasonable. It improves the quality of the examination system effectively.
