Along with the development and the wide use of the communicationtechnology, it has been requested higher reliability for the data transfer inthe engineering. In 1948, Claude Elwood Shannon brought forward thefamous theorem of the channel codes in the article of "A mathematicaltheory of communication". Shannon laid the foundations of the theoremand practice of the error-correcting codes. Along with the persistentdevelopment, there are many applied technology of the error-correctingcodes which had been realized and used widely. In the use of the shortwave or ultrashort broadcasting station, we canafford communication application for the special request of the consumer. We can make use of the error-correcting software modules by coding withthe data to decrease the rate of the error bits. The article exoatiates on thedesign of the error-correcting software modules. The module affords theexternal interface and encapsulates the realization of the codingarithmetic by the definition and construction of the module frame. Themodule can afford the function of the dynamic combination and replacing. The favorable frame has great capabilities in extending and deploying. There are important value of the communication and the data processingin the engineering. The error-correcting software module affords the encapsulation andrealization of the standard error-correcting arithmetic. It includes thearithmetic of the Reed-Solomon code and convolution code. It affords theconstruction and application of the interleaves and serial concatenatedcoding. The article exoatiates on the realization of the arithmetic and theanalysis by performance based on the analysis by the theory of theerror-correcting codes.
