In recent years, zoom cameras which are the core equipment of video monitoringsystems can be seen everywhere. Zoom cameras are small, with good flexibility and easyto install. So we researched zoom camera and designed the control system of it. Firstly, weresearched the key technologies such as the control of motor, the OSD (on screen display)technology and the auto-focus technology. Taking MCU as the core, we designed thehardware scheme. On base of that, we designed the detail circuits of every module. Theprocedure of software development and the module software design were then introduced.Considering the computing capability of MCU, we proposed a method to calculate theestimating function in the auto-focus algorithm so we could control the lens to realizeauto-focus. We designed the OSD menu then the users can set up parameters of the system.Finally, we debugged the whole system and analyzed the results. Experimental resultsshow that the control system reached design requirement. |
