The thesis mainly studies the electrical behaviors of the semi-conductor bridge (SCB)and the regulation of energy transformation during the process of the SCB firing. Theresearch development in semiconductor bridge ignition technology has been reviewed inthis study. The ignition mechanism has been investigated more systematically. This study contains:(1) Under the condition of capacitance discharge, the explodecharacteristic of N-doped SCB and P-doped SCB;(2) Under the condition of constantcurrent, the explode characteristic of N-doped SCB and P-doped SCB.Major conclusions from this study are summarized as follows:(1)Under the condition of the electric capacity dischargeFor N -doped SCB:①Under the definite Capacity, the higher the charging voltage is,the faster SCB fires. The time is tend to a fixed value, about 2.0μs. The energy utilizationrate of the SCB reduces as charging voltage increasing.②Under the definite chargingvoltage, the higher electric capacity is, the faster the SCB fires; The energy utilization ofSCB also decreases. For P-doped SCB:①Under the definite capacity, the higher the charging voltage is,the faster SCB fires. The time is tend to a fixed value, about 2.0μs. The energy utilizationrate of the SCB reduce as charging votage increase.②Under the definite charging voltage, the higher electric capacity is, the faster the SCB fires; The energy utilization of SCB alsodecreases.(2) Under the condition of the constant currentFor N-doped SCB: the firing time becomes shorter, as the increase of electric current. After 12A, the firing time is tend to a fixed certain value, about 15μs.For P-doped SCB: As the increase of electric current, the firing time of SCBbecomes shorter, Which tend to a fixed value, about 17μs.
