In this paper, Corresponding to the technique of Millimeter waves(MMW)active/passive detector measure distance and target identification, based on the DSP ofTMS320VC5410, we complete the design of the high speed rccognition systems.In the hardware design, system use the THS 1030 and AD7470 to sample the echoes ofactive and passive, the electrical source,clock,reset circuit of DSP and Flash circuit and soon, being integrated in the system. And systems store the program code in the flash ofSST39VF200A and realize the boot loader of the system. Designed the serialcommunication circuit, accomplishes the connection between system and PC. Achieved adetection system for data acquisition and the real-time monitoring of records.The development of DSP system software is finished, which contains systeminitialization disposition, timer disposition, clock disposition, exterior main line control,programmable district transformation logic, McBSP disposition and the targetidentification. Some code is given, which is used in the system software development. Thedesign of boot loader is introduced in detail. Due to a lot of tests, the detection system iswell optimized and it is well contented with the design requirement.In the end, the paper introduces the working principle of the detector in the 3mmMMW, and dicusses the design of target identification application and the analyses ofexperiments.
