Shoe factories massively use Chemical liquor from which poisonous and harmful gas with flammability is evaporated, if laborers work under such kind of environment over a long period of time, their health will be seriously affected. Considering the environmental security request of shoe factories and practical project, we has designed an environment monitoring installment on the basis of DSP.The paper specifically introduces software and hardware design for Shoe factories' environmental monitoring installment, and also gives analysis and conclusion to all kinds of questions which will meet in the process of design.In the respect of Hardware design, according to the features of the environmental monitoring data acquisition and processing: Taking DSP as the core; Analog-to -Digital Converter MAX196 complete analog signal acquisition; CPLD Logic decoding assume that the change of control functions, that the address decoder, I / O expansion, the debounce circuit of the keyboard, switches of Acquisition and Control, DSP-Multiplexed data bus and SJA1000 Multiplexed data Bus interface and conversion; CAN provide communication interface for monitoring installment and upper monitor.Software design, it introduces software systems on the composition and development process, and divided into specific data acquisition, data processing, data transmission on three modules.
