Pseudo-code Phase Modulation Continuous Wave Tws Detector

Through-the-wall Surveillance(TWS) is a new radar system, which can detect the suspicious objects without intrusion and surveil the moving targets inside the building or blindage. It can be widely used for urban-warfare, counter-terrorism and hostage rescue.According to the characteristic of TWS, the TWS detector scheme which is based on Pseudo-Random Code CW is proposed. The thesis analyzes the working principle of the detector and gives the principle framework. Digital receiver which work after mixed frequency of zero middle frequency is further researched. Hardware design is given and unit circuit is introduced in details. Based on analyze of multiple digital correlative algorithm, folded correlative algorithm is selected with using field-programmable gate array (FPGA). Result of ChipScope Pro verify the program's correctness. According to characteristic of CW TWS detector, cancellation technology is researched. The thesis includes the cancellation technloogy of microwave and middle frequency, then propose to use digital video cancellation to cancel leakness of the singal. Matlab simulation result proves digit video cancellation is practical and effective.
