In this paper, the operating behavior of ASE source, under different pumpingschemes, are studied in detail, including one-pass reverse direction pumping, one-passequi-direction pumping and double-pass equi-diction pumping; and the spectrum ofASE source are compared under the same pumping scheme, but different pumpingpowers. We design high accuracy stable current-source, achieved 0.02 mA. Thetemperature controlling system designed achieves 0.1℃. The method of double waypumping using fiber loop mirror as the reflector is proposed in this paper, which keepsthe all-fiber construction, and the cost can be neglected, it is valuable in practicalapplication. The noise spectrum of the ASE source was measured and analysed by usingof data acquisition BNC-2120 provided by National Instruments. According to noiseproperty distributing in low-frequency range, we proposed to adopt fuzzy-controllingnegative feed-back to stabilize the output power of the ASE source, with which thestability reaches 0.143%, better than 0.01~0.05 dB (0.2%~2%) available from market. |
