Some carrying on the vehicle equipment will be affected by the motion of carrier, which could lead to equipment work unstable. To ensure the stability of the equipment, needs a stable platform to isolate the effect of vehicle shaking. This paper proposed a two-stage stable platform:The first stage platform to greatly isolate the disturbance; The second stage platform to further isolate disturbance to achieve stable.This paper mainly studied the control technology of second stable platform. The common structure of stable platform is described firstly. A stabilized platform of series structure is designed and the key part is completed. The kinematics mathematical model of the second stage platform are set up and its law of motion is researched. The attitude information acquisition system is built with high-performance sensor. Master control chip is Atmega2560, which have high processing capacity and better control ability. The control circuit is designed with Atmega2560. On the basis of hardware system, the software system is designed. The communication of control circuit with sensor and motor driver is achieved. In view of the stabilized platform control algorithm, a fuzzy-PID control algorithm is put forward and compared with the classic PID control algorithm. Finally, static experiments and dynamic experiments for the second stage platform is made, and experiment for the overall stability platform is done. Finally, the experimental data is analysed with the Matlab.
