The main content of this dissertation is about design and implementation of synchronization project on Frequency-Hopping/Direct sequences (FH/DS)system.Spreading Spectrum(SS) system is a new type of communication system built on the basis of Shannon Information Theory. The SS system is widely used in both military and civil communication for its strong capabilities of anti-jamming , multi-accesses, secrecy and anti-multipaths. The FH/DS system uses hopping carrier on the basis of SS system, so it spreads more spectrum than single FH or SS system does. The FH/DS system has traits of low probability of intercept, strong anti-jamming and good cover-up.Synchronization is a key technology on FH/DS system. This thesis introduces classic serial and parallel capture methods used in synchronization of Hopping sequences, analyzing the synchronization capability in AGWN channels. To design reasonable and feasible synchronization plan, the thesis first introduces frame structure and time scheduling according to system demands. Secondly, it analyzes ways of bit synchronization, frame synchronization and synchronization clock comeback. Then it shows the flow charts of data and audio synchronization. Through the capability analysis and measurements on test platform, the synchronization project can reach the scheduled targets.
