Small Local Area Network Based On Windows Operating Systems, Configuration Management Automation

Company with the development of information technology and computer application, Computer network is wildly used in different area of our life, especially in the areas of emprise management, e_business, math compute, multiple media and communication. In order to improve the technology of network application in our country, the research work should trace the most advanced technology of network development. This paper stressed on the automation management of a local area network. The proposed system employees the Delphi 7 as a program development tool, it acquire the IP address, host name, MAC address by the program, and solve the IP conflict or run time fault by reassigning the IP address. The system can obviously improve the local area network management efficiency and reduce the boring daily maintenance work.This paper discusses the main problems for computer and network. It develops a network management system for IP address assigning via TCP/IP protocol stack and database management. The system includes a user interface, client program and server program. It provides a automatic tool for network management.
