The current industrial network presents a heterogeneous network form with many types of industrial protocols and incompatibility between these protocols, which makes it difficult to exchange information between industrial devices. With the development of intelligent manufacturing, the internal network of the factory is showing an IP-based development trend. Therefore,it is necessary to perform a unified IP address allocation method in the industrial heterogeneous network to support indiscriminate addressing communication between devices. The traditional DHCP method cannot assign a fixed IP address to the device based on the location information of the device in the industrial site, which cannot meet the requirements of the industrial scene. In addition, the configuration data such as subnets and address pools involved in the address allocation process does not have a unified data modeling mechanism and configuration management method, resulting in high configuration management costs and low configuration efficiency.Based on the above problems, this thesis proposes a unified address allocation and management mechanism for industrial heterogeneous network after studying the IPv6 addressing technology and the network configuration protocol NETCONF.The main contributions and work of this thesis are as follows:(1)Proposed an IPv6 address allocation mechanism for industrial heterogeneous networks(AAMIN).This mechanism assigns an IPv6 address for industrial device that bound to the device's business feature information, which solves the defects in the application of DHCP in industrial scenarios. The business feature information of the device includes the location information and the device type information. For industrial non-IP devices that do not support direct configuration of IP addresses,AAMIN uses a gateway address mapping mechanism to implement IPv6 addressing for non-IP devices, which solves the problem of direct addressing communication between industrial heterogeneous network devices. In order to apply this mechanism in actual scenarios, the thesis designs and implements an AAMIN-based address allocation system, which mainly implements the automatic allocation of IPv6 addresses for industrial device based on the address allocation principle of AAMIN.(2)Designed and implemented a configuration management system based on NETCONF.The thesis defines five RPC operations to manage configuration data in the address allocation process, and establishes a YANG data model for the defined RPC operations and configuration data that need to be managed, providing an easy-to-operate and scalable configuration management method. The configuration management system is divided into remote management terminal,NETCONF agent terminal and configuration execution module. The remote management terminal automatically generates a configuration message template in XML format according to the YANG model of RPC operation, which is convenient for users to distribute configuration content. The NETCONF agent verifies the validity of the configuration request message according to the YANG model of the configuration data to prevent configuration errors. The configuration execution module updates the configuration data storage according to the configuration content issued by the user,so as to apply the configuration data to the subsequent address allocation process.(3)Set up a test environment and design experiments to verify the feasibility of the unified address allocation and management mechanism by functional testing and performance testing. The experimental results show that the system implemented in this thesis can adapt to the needs of industrial scenes, assigning specific IPv6 addresses to industrial devices based on their business characteristics information, and supporting real-time configuration operations through the NETCONF protocol to achieve dynamic management of configuration data.
