This dissertation is about the project of Information Transmission Subsystem (ITS) Development, a project of the Nation High-Tech Research and Development Program of China. The main task of this project is doing research on the wireless self-organized network technology which is used in the ITS of application system. To accord with the hierarchical organization of application system, the ITS is organized with a 3-layered network structure. Each layer is made up of several wireless self-organized subnets (the top-level layer has only one subnet). Each communication node in the network has not only wireless interfaces but also a wired Ethernet interface which can connect a wired subnet. Layered self-organized networks have two kinds of self-organized routing algorithms. One is used in the subnet; another is used between different layers. The design of inter-subnets self-organized routing algorithm for the ITS based on ultra-short channel is the main part of this dissertation. In this self-organized network, each subnet follows the former 863 project's production– the piggyback transmission method. About the self-organized routing technology of subnets, another 863 project's production– the Kernel Tree Routing Protocol would be used as reference. Of course, some changes would be made according to this specific network architecture.Firstly, this paper gives a snapshot of some typical self-organized routing protocols in MANET, then introduces the architecture and addressing technology of ITS, after that analyzes the routing requirement of ITS and finds a routing method of using inter-subnets self-organized, the following part gives the details of the design and implementation of inter-subnets self-organized routing algorithms, finally the plenty of results of experiments prove the availability of the self-organized routing algorithms of ITS and possibility of addressing technology.
