For global trunk communication system, the handling style is changed from analog to digital. Comparing with analog trunk system, digital system can provide more services, better service quality, and stronger security, better connection and higher frequency. Now the digital trunk communication system is used in many kinds of places, such as government, military, police office, railway, irrigation works, electric power, airport, steel, and cargo transportation and so on. This paper discuss one kind of digital trunk configuration software which is developed on Visual Studio .NET 2003 IDE and is used to config the digital radio.Firstly, this paper introduces the development of Visual Studio .NET 2003 platform, C# and some other related technologies based on it including XUL engine, Windows Forms programming.Secondly this paper introduces the concept and functionality of this software, then introduces the relationship between it and other digital trunk communication system and finished the requirement analysis.Then this paper introduces the design and implementation by using two chapters. In the chapter of high level design, this paper introduces the theory and working scope of this software, and then introduces the functional components including GUI, Controller, Database, and Communication. Because I am involved in GUI design and implementation, the major content of this paper is about GUI development including the GUI classes design, the introduction of relationship among different GUI classes, and the GUI controls design.In the chapter of low level design, this paper introduces my working scope: the handling procedure of each internal class in GUI, and gives the detailed description of the procedure. Then the customized windows controls are touched including the idea of customization for each control and the functions of each class. Then the paper analyses the specialty of the software and the test will be done under testing environment to test the reaction. Last some ideas are mentioned for future development.
