Along with the development and growth of enterprises, the type and quantity of hardware equipment are quickly increasing. It is an important issue for modern enterprises to effectively use, manage, predict and evaluate these equipments, and improve enterprise benfit. As a high-tech manufacturing giant, Intel supports the application research on reliability of the hardware equipment, through establishing collaboration with the universities. This thesis is based on this plan.This thesis first introduces the basic theories of the reliability, including reliability indexes, effectiveness indexes, life-span data distributed type and reliability block diagram, and so on; then introduces the Delphi method and Customer Satisfaction for evaluating the equipments; finally introduces the Web Services technology. These are the theory and technical basis of the systems.The focus of this thesis is to introduce the system design and implement. Firstly, propose the main objectives and functions of system, the development and operating environment and system's attributes. Secondly, design the architecture and process of system, and system modules. Thirdly, introduce the design for each module in detaile. Finally, introduce the testing of the system.The core module of system is to analyze and predict the reliability of equipment, as well as to estimate the equiment. The module includes the following aspects: 1. Estimate statistically the probability-distributing density function by applying the method of reliability-life-distributing-modeling to infer other reliability indexes, thought analyzing the component failure data.2. Propose an average value predicting model for Time Between Failures based on statistics, according to the characteristics that the value of TBF around a fixed level.3. Analyze the some indexes of equipment effectiveness including MTBF, MTTR and Availability, according to equipment failure data.4. Propose an algorithm for how to improve quickly the reliability of system with the minimal instruments in the parallel connection, which starts of any state (k1, k2,……, kn). 5. Calculate the weight of main indexes using Delphi method, establish the Customer Satisfaction model to provide decision supporting for Intel.
