This paper mainly designs a fuzzy PID control system which is based on ARM-Linux platform. The controlled object of the system is the mathematics model of the boiler liquid level. Using fuzzy control scheme, the conclusion is verified by simulation result which is based on ARM-Linux platform.The beginning of the thesis presents the theory of the fuzzy control and method of the fuzzy controller. It analyses the theory of fuzzy PID control and the advantages of fuzzy PID control compared with traditional PID control. Demanding for the boiler liquid level control model of "EFPT-1-01" made by a company in ShangHai, it designs a fuzzy PID controller.Then the thesis presents the development of embedded system, the situation of embedded Linux and the architecture of ARM. It mainly presents the way to develop application programs based on ARM9-Linux platform of "DM2410B+" made by a company in ZheJiang.We often design fuzzy controller by look-up-table based on 8086 platform because of the limit of the speed of the operation of processors and the memory size, In that way the precision of the fuzzy controller is low. The ARM9-Linux platform used in this thesis has a S3C2410 CPU with operation frequency of 266MHz, and also has a SDRAM of 64M and a NANAD FLASH of 64M. So the system has enough speed of the operation of processor and memory size to run the reasoning process of fuzzy control realized based on C.Because we can not directly link the "DM2410B+" ARM9-Linux platform to the boiler liquid level control system of "EFPT-1-01", we need to build the mathematics model of boiler liquid level control system of "EFPT-1-01",and simulate the system based on ARM-Linux platform. The end of the thesis presents the way to build the mathematics model of boiler liquid level control system and the simulation realization of fuzzy PID control based on C. It mainly presents the realization of reasoning process of fuzzy PID control based on C. Compared with the simulating result of traditional PID control based on ARM9-Linux platform, fuzzy PID has more advantages.
