Beijing Study Of Historical Documents

Beijing historical documents have a long history, the number of them is very much, and they include extensive contents. But in their spreading process, a large number of Beijing historical documents lost, my work is that extracting the lost sentences of Beijing historical documents from existent books and documents, the lost sentences will be researched after arranging them in a certain order. My paper includes the following aspects mainly:Firstly, as comprehensive as possible, I collect the lost words and sentences on al documents, they will be distinguished, noted, collated and so on. This will ensure that the lost sentences are true and perfect. This paper contains 83 kinds of books and about 130000 word, they are shown in the appendix.Secondly, the first chapter discusses the process of development and evolution of Beijing historical documents generally. Before the Five Dynasties, they came into being and developed slowly; during the Liao, Song and Jin Dynasty, they inclined to grow mature; in Yuan Dynasty, Beijing historical documents were completely mature, they made great progress in both quantity and quality; they entered the prosperous period in the Ming Dynasty, official and private writings about Beijing appeared largely, many of them were top-quality; the Qing Dynasty, they flourished greatly, the number is much, categories is full, quality is high, and excellent writings came forth in great number. The lost books of Beijing historical documents also are sorted and indicated the source in this chapter.Thirdly, the lost Beijing historical documents are discussed synthetically in the second chapter of this paper. According to the character of authors, they are divided into two major categories: the Official authors and private individual, and specific analysis is done. This chapter focuses on the causes for losing and value of Beijing historical documents. The causes for losing are summed up six aspects roughly, such as flood, fire, disaster of pasts, security, etc. The content of the lost documents involve in politics, economy, culture, custom, ethnic relations and so on, on history, philology, linguistics and other scientific research, they have important value.Finally, in the third chapter of this paper, some lost Beijing historical documents are selected and researched. Such as "The Record of Being Sent to Yanyun District as an Ambassador", "The Record of Recovering Yan District", "The Record of Entering Yan District", "The Record of Losing Yan District", "The Record of Yanyun District", the five book is quoted by Xu Mengshen's "Compilation of Literature about Three Dynasties"; chorography of the Ming Dynasty "Chorography of Longqing state in the Period of Chenhua"; Ruan Minxi's "The Record of Traveling Yan Mountain"; "Chorography of Beiping in the Period of Hongwu" quoted by "Research to the book Capital History. This chapter combines general depiction with concrete analysis, the authors and lost sentences are textual researched, contents and loss of the documents are analyzed and discussed, too.
