Currently, computer systems in which each one has its own local attached storage, which to be fixed computing environment by binding storing and computing resources with physical bus. Flexibility and convenience can't be provided for users without ability of building computing environment dynamically. While SOND(Service On Demand) which is based on physical separation between storing and computing resources, map the resource requests of system onto remote storage devices and data path between storing and computing resources is constructed in time with virtual agent at the client of clusters. In this thesis, we design and implement a solution for virtual agent called VSCSI system. Besides, research of deployment and high availability of services with SOND are made based on VSCSI.Firstly, the solution for virtual agent called VSCSI is presented. The theory model of physical separation between storing and computing resources and framework of SOND based on VSCSI are researched and implementation mechanism of data path between storing and computing resources are provided based on research of the related research and practice here and overseas.Then, implementation and performance optimization of VSCSI are expanded. Virtual network disk and VSCSI virtual disk based on function analogue are implemented to rebuild the data path between storing and computing resources. Beside, I/O performance optimization solutions named hierarchical request filter (HRF) are proposed. The experiment results show that after the optimization, the I/O performance of system has enhanced largely.Lastly, service deployment and high availability are researched. SOM is presented through which deployment of Windows OS is made. After analysis and study of three solutions of high availability, a prototype system based on asynchronous I/O mode is implemented with high performance and availability.
