Kjava Mobile Game Design And Development

J2ME is a fast growing technology which can be used to develop applications on various devices, especially the mobile communication equipments. It focuses on the application of consumptive electronic products, provides revolutionary solution. Also it improves the efficiency of development process due to its"Write Once, run anywhere"nature. Nowadays the cell phone is getting more popular in our society, the application via using Java technology on mobile equipments plays an important role in our daily life, such as messages, games, email etc.This thesis discussed the implementation of a commercial mobile game named"Poker Machine"developed by using J2ME technology. This application inherits many characteristics of the old fashioned game Battle City developed by Nintendo.This thesis introduced the basic approach of application of KJAVA on the game development. In the meantime, emphasized was given to the related techniques such as J2ME, Eclipse.. The whole structure of the thesis is outlined as follows:Chapter 1: Current background and market introduction of mobile games;Chapter 2: Detailed discussion of J2ME and its related techniques;Chapter 3: Introduction of the development tool for KJAVA- Eclipse, including its installment plan etc;Chapter 4, Detailed design and analysis of the game;Chapter 5: Implementation of game software;The rest chapters are the discussions of game software release, conclusions and expectations.
