Data Mining Technology Applied Research In The Library System

With the development of data-mining technology, the study has been truning to real applications from finding methods. The data-mining brought great economic value to the area of business, and it has been widely applied in many realms.The digital library changed the service of the traditional library, and it can provide lots of informations of readers to realize personalized service. In this paper, we mainly researched the technolies of cluster analysis and association rule. After analyzing the system of library, we brought forward a model of data-mining application in library. The work of this paper is in following aspects.First of all, the idea of applying data-mining technology in library was brought forward, and it combined the data-mining and personalized service together.Secondly, we researched the application of cluster analysis in library, and realized the cluster analyzed of readers and books using the k-means method.Thirdly, we improved the method of Apriori, reduced the numbers of scanning the business table, increased the efficiency of creating frequent itemset. Using the association rule ,we realized the data-mining of books. Applying the results of association rule , the personalized service is being provided in library.
