Software Reliability Test System Based On Xml Technology, Research And Realization

The reliability is more and more concerned according to the wide application of computer and information technology. Software reliability is the ability of the software that causes no error in specific condition and time. Software reliability not only relates to bugs inside the software, but also affects by system input and use. Software reliability is an important inherent characteristic of software quality. It is also the key factor of software quality. Software reliability is the quality view of software costumers. We adopt Software Reliability Engineering and CMM to improve the reliability and quality of software. Software Reliability Testing includes several steps: create use model, create test cases, parse test cases and reliability evaluate etc. Therefore, research software reliability testing system is significant to improve the efficiency of software reliability testing and the quality of software. Aimed at the main problems of the software reliability testing system, this paper did many researches in the following fields:1 The real time communication of embedded software reliability testing system. The traditional embedded software testing system, no matter single structure or divided structure, does a bad job in real time data transmission when it is used in embedded software reliability testing which is long-time running. In this paper a prototype of star topological embedded software test system with switch Ethernet is represented. It improved real-time communication of embedded software test system by modifying IEEE802.1p and importing a real-time area.2 Create and parse software reliability testing test case. In this paper, XML technology is applied to save test case files. We proposed a XML test case model, implemented a XML test case files creater and a XML test case parse model with the support of LabVIEW National Instrument Corporation.At last we used LabVIEW to design and implement a software reliability testing system in which we applied the theory researched above.
