With the development of wireless communication technology and the demand for wireless communications rely increasingly strengthened, many forces, government departments, research institutes, and enterprises need on the indoor staff, an important asset for effective security monitoring and management. For commonly used in the field of indoor positioning embedded systems, the social event of failure will bring huge losses of life and property. How to improve the reliability of embedded software has become the focus of widespread concern academia. However, due to the special nature of embedded software, there still are many problems and challenges for testing.In this thesis, the reliability test on 2.4GHz active RFID nodes positioning system conducted in-depth research. Designed and implemented a tool for the reliability assessment of the positioning system. The main contents are as follows:1. Introduces reader and tag software architecture of 2.4GHz active RFID nodes positioning system and the features of embedded software. We analyzed the basic theory, testing methods, and procedures of embedded software reliability, comparing the differences between embedded software testing and generic embedded software testing.2. In this thesis, the reliability test on 2.4GHz active RFID nodes positioning system were overall design. Develop testing process by the overall framework of system reliability. System reliability test will be divided into three fields: management and control subsystem, embedded test subsystem, reliability evaluation subsystems. We introduce internal function modules and logical relationship between each subsystem, developing reliability testing index system, dividing the test range.3. Designed to achieve a reliability evaluation tool of 2.4GHz active RFID nodes positioning system. Proposed test model based on operational profile, and construct operational profile for this system reliability. According to the reliable index system design test scenarios, test cases and test execution automation to generate.Finally, we analyze the test results, assess the reliability of the system and generates reliability test report.On the basis of existing testing theory, the thesis first proposed method for the reliability test on 2.4GHz active RFID nodes positioning system. Meanwhile, the thesis realized from the test model selection, target setting, automatic generation of test cases to evaluation system testing process. Specialized in the integration and expansibility, we provides a practical reliability testing tool that easy to operate for testers. The research has improved the status that embedded system software testing tools behind theoretical study, and providing a reference for the research of embedded system software test.
