With the development of aviotronics, we need higher data-transmit speed in avionics compute field. At the same time, a great deal data should be transmitted among on-board electronics equipment in complex network environment; however, traditional on-board network system can not afford that. New material and protocol are needed. Data can be transmitted at the speed of Gbit/s in fibre. What is more, fibre has the ability of Anti-jamming and bit-error-rate under 10-12, which provides high-reliability, low-latency, high-speed communication solution.This paper introduces the development history of avionics networking technology, researches fibre channel technology, discusses upper mapping protocol of fibre channel in avionics environment, and proposes an implemented method of FC-LP (fibre channel lightweight protocol). Because of the requirement for high-reliability, low-latency and high speed in avionics environment, we simplified SCSI commands and reduce the header of data frame. The Transmit speed is improved.Then, the paper proposes the design and implementation of task management. We design three queues to manage different tasks, which will ensure every task under control. Priority mechanism and millisecond-overtime system are adopted to ensure Real-time performance. We use different priorities to distinguish the importance of different data, and strict overtime system to ensure tasks to be finished in specifically period. Meanwhile, multi-state channel, integrated state transition plan and synchronous /asynchronous model are designed to improve reliability and flexibility. Finally, we test the system's reliability and communication performance. After a long time test, the result shows that the system meets requirements of avionics environment both in Real-time and reliability. FC-LP system is important to research next generation avionics communication system.
