With the development of military, aviation and aerospace, quality and accuracy of products become a crucial factor, precision or ultra-precision process, advanced and accurate measurement technology become an important guarantee of production quality. Therefore, measurement accuracy of industrial production is a necessary requirement. The mechanical parts with slender holes, because of its limited space, topography and other complex parameters, its measurement usually depends on the special detection equipments, which are very expensive and sensitive to environment. It's trmendous value to research the automatic inspection measurement of slender holes.This dissertation focuses on the measurement of slender holes in size and form precision, the primary theory, the method and the techniques on flexible measurement slender holes which are based on plug-in. The main works of this thesis are as following:1 Analyze the characteristics and difficulties of the automatic inspection of slender hole, summarize and compare the current measurement as well as the characteristics and principles of the requirements and the specification of actual measurement. A simple, effective, feasible and automatic detection system for the slender holes (ADSFSH) based on plug-in is proposed.2 The general planning of the measurement system is analyzed and designed by studying the characteristics of ADSFSH. It uses a precious pneumatic instrument to inspect slender holes by feed and precision positioning. At last, Combinations of diverse measurement manners are designed for various need of measurement.3 The automatic inspection principles for slender holes are researched in detail, along with error analysis. This forms the basis of future improvements. Then explore a form error plug-in based on the geometry form error component, and finish assessment of size and form precision.4 Definition and significance of the plug-in are discussed,and the framework and principles of plug-in component are presented.
