As the key manufacturing equipments, the working accuracy of the numerical control machine and machining center are influenced by a lot of factor, in which the precision of principal axis is the most important one. By way of quality control methods, the precision of principal axis can be controlled efficiently. Therefore, the measurement of turning error, vibration, dynamic equilibrium and stiffness is the most important aspect in quality control system.Axis turning error is a critical quality control index. In recent years, traditional measuring methods have not satisfied the higher request of precision in measurement. In the base of traditional measuring methods and axis vibration study, this paper presented the secondary error separation technique from axis turning error, and also introduced modeling of the secondary error separation. In these elements, this paper designed a measuring system of axis turning error, and also delivered the detail design of its hardware and software. All of the hardware frames, the algorithm about improved repeat arithmetic and the software flow charts were offered in addition to the pivotal software code.Based on the secondary error separation technique from axis turning error, this paper conducted the simulation modeling by Matlab/Simulink, and the feasibility of system was proved. By computation of simulated data, related results are consistent with the theoretical analysis before. It has an important significance in actual assembly shop quality control system.
