The task of the 3D reconstruction is taking out some 3D information from picture, handing those information through classification and synthesize, and constructing the body of that picture in the 3D scene. The kinds of the conversion work from a picture to a model, particularly in the Industrial Design realm, have the important meaning.The traditional modeling method of industrial design mostly based on the geometry modeling, by researching into the 3D reconstruction based on single image, the thesis proposed the industrial design-oriented, geometry and image-based hybrid modeling method,and further proposed the 3D reconstruction method based on sketh; therefore realized the design automation and more efficient industrial design process.The new innovation of the thesis are as followings:1. A new idea for production design has been proposed.It can recover the 3D data automatically from a single industry production ID styling drawing or picture.2. A new hybrid modeling method based on geometry and image orienting industrial design.3. A new 3D reconstruction theory based on the single image. From the aspect of perspective,the thesis do research about perspective element and so on. and further proposed the corresponding arithmetic.Experimental results are presented and analyzed for both synthetic and real images. It is shown that such a 3D reconstruction is possible, and established the foundation of 3D reconstruction of induatrial design based on geometry and image.
