The technology of scene simulation is one of the most extensive technologies at present. Based on the similar theory, information processing technology and computer technology, it utilizes the systematic model to carry on experimental study to the real or imaginary system which regards the computer and other special-purpose physical effects apparatus as tools. The simulation system which has been proved is playing an important role in the research and finalizing of the weapon systems.This thesis develops the system of three-dimensional scene simulation under VC and adopting OpenGL of SGI Company. In another way, using the technologies of figure and image processing, it simulates the true ground scene, objects and the sky. To drive the scene by the flight path and gesture information of the missile guide and simulate the chang of the scene caused by the movement of the missile guide in real time. Finally, to check up the capture and tracking ability of the missile guide. The main contents are as follows.(1) Introduce OpenGL as the simulation tool and VC as the platform.Decide how to carry it out.(2) Mainly provide two modeling ways which are using the builded 3D models directly and using the OpenGL. Then make a contrast. To ensure to generate a very vivid simulation system, it brings some means to improve the third dimension of the scene. At the same time, it provides three ways to draw the sky and some ways to solve the problem of textures.(3) Realize the interaction by the commonly tools such as keyboard and mouse and loading some data. Especially the second way, it translates the data of six Degree of Freedom to the place of the camera and the direction of the view. Then it drives the scene to simulate the change of the scene caused by the missile guide in real time.(4) Analyse what is real time in this system and how to carry it out by the technology of double buffer and high smart timer. At the same time, it is focus on how to improve its real time, as well as some test means are given including a new way. By the results of experiment, we know that the system can satisfy us very well.Comparing to other systems, this system has two aspects. One is the chang of the scene is drived by the data and the other is it has very high demands on real time. While using this simulation system can reduce the research costs of the missile guide system, shorten test and development cycle, and improve test and development quality. Thus it offers a fast, economic and effective means for identifying the performance of the missile guide. In a word, this system has very important meaning in theory and extensive application prospect.
