As the rapid development of ICCD technology, the method for viewing underwater objects has changed from sonar to photoelectricity. As the key technology of photoelectric imaging for viewing underwater, Un-Gated technology is used to decrease back scattering to improve the quality of image. this thesis authors commit himself to research and design Un-Gated control circuit.This thesis authors analysed the key technology of photoelectric imaging for viewing underwater, and researched about the requirement of laser driver and ICCD in the photoelectric imaging system for viewing underwater, then tested the timing parameter of laserdriver in the system. on the foundation, researched and designed a distance selection controlling circuit for photoelectric imaging for underwater objects which is based on CPLD core.In shis paper, the authors emphasized the hardware and software designation of Un-Gated circuit based on EPM3128 CPLD. then designed a whole Un-Gated system, arming at the author's researching project, and the detailed realization steps of the system were expounded in the aspects of programming and hardware characteristic. Later the author gave the processing result and its advantage in experiment, and gave a better realization idea on this foundation.
