The noise exists when motor is working. It is one of the important parameters of motor that it should be as less as possible. The noise should be recorded in detail in order to be noise waveform graphic by which is estimated between mechanical noise and electromagnetic noise. The noise is tested about size and shape well and truly for analyzing so that motor is tested noise in very silent place, which is isolation booth, where is no other sound. And then, the checker who is out of the isolation booth controls the motor which is in the isolation booth. This is study purpose how to control the motor in long-distance in order to have a very exact noise record. The communication between computer and motor controller and motor controlled by motor controller are studied in this paper.In allusion to be short of the cubage, stabilization and nicety of controllers at present, motor controller is put forward the complex programmable logic device (CPLD) to be made of. For example, the program runs away easily in MCU, controlling unstably, not enough precision, high price of DSP and so on.It's in use of communication knowledge. RS-232 cable in order to be controlled by computer in long-distance communicates with a serial port to the CPLD. However, the CPLD can not be communicated with computer directly except it has an interface that is Universal Asynchronous Receiver and Transfer (UART). On the other hand, it wants the CPLD having a function of motor controlling when there is a Pulse Width Modulation controller through Very high Hardware Description Language (VHDL) code compiling, programming to the CPLD chip. And then, it is built the motor control system in use of RS-232 cable, H bridge circuit and CPLD developed board.At last, the input and output signal is tested and emulated in a long-distance control and motor controller after the whole the motor control system being built. It's told us that the software whose name is motor control assistant is able to send command so that it can control the motor in long-distance by result. And the test result proves that it makes the motor positive running, reversal running, speed up running, speed down running and the same speed running. It proves the motor controller has more nicety serial communication and function extended.
