The microwave radiometer is a kind of passive microwave remote sensor. Gennerally microwave radiometer can be considered as passive receptors of radiation from objects with no energy radiated from the antenna to its surroundings ,practically the components of radiometers have thermal noise and radiate energy in the reverse direction. In another case, the reverse radiation comes from the mismatch of the components between the antenna and the receiver system. The energy radiated to the outside through the antenna is linked to the noise of the receiver and components of the receiver front-end.The reverse radiative temperature in the system will affect the accuracy of the microwave radiometer calibration.Firstly, based on the calibration and measurement research of the microwave radiometer, this thesis analyses the character of the reverse-direction radiating noise temperature.Secondly, after analyse the reverse radiation, several methods are given to reduce the reverse radiating noise. Also based on the work processing of total-power radiometer,we analyse the effect of reverse radiation on the microwave radiometer. Finally, this thesis analyses the correlation of the reverse radiation. We analyses the effect of reverse radiation on the microwave radiometer when the two part reverse radiating noise are correlated or not.
