The Mobile Police System, Public Security Based On Wap Technology

The construction of information system for police provides a way for police of different apartments to share information conveniently and effectively. But in the traditional police information system, it apt to occur that information is incorrect, the scope information collected is limited, and the processing of information is not on time. As a result, the policemen cannot take advantage of correlative information perfectly to deal with all kinds of police work. The police information system should be extended to mobile information system, which should be convenient, fast and effective. The mobile information system should be able to meet the requirements of quick response and timely actions, to provide good services for police work. The rapid delevelopment of the WAP technology, which is a combination of wireless communication and internet technology, provides a necessary technical basis for the construction and development of mobile police affair system.Based on the deep analysis of the current situation, construction target and requirements of the Police Information System, a WAP based police affair system is designed and implemented in this thesis. The system provides a powerful support of data for frontline policemen at the work spot. This system has enhanced the efficiency and fighting abilities of frontline policemen in a significant way, and has also provided technical supports for the implementation of police mobile system. The main work of the research is as follows:(1) Takes advantage of GPRS network as the bearer network and makes good use of the features provided by GPRS, such as channel sharing, online always, etc, a WAP based moble police affair system is designed and implemented. This system uses WTLS of WAP protocol to ensure the secrurity of data transmission. This system provides the policemen in the front-line a way to access the data in the information center freely and securely with high-speed.(2) A mapping algorithm between half-structured XML data and the structured RDB data based on XML Schema is presented in this thesis to solve the storage of the data which is descriped in XML in moble police affair system.(3) Considering the limitations of wireless communication environment, a hybrid data encryption algorithm is proposed to meet the special scurity requirements of mobile police affair system. The algorithm employs the International Data Encryption Algorithm (IDEA) to realize data encryption, makes use of ECC encryption to encrypt key, and utilizes SHA encryption to generate digital digest and complete the digital...
