The oil pipelines in the operation are frequently been destructed by oil-thieves who drilling holes to steal oil. At present, the method generally used is to detect the corresponding parameters at pipeline's import and export through some special detectors of pressure, current capacity, temperature etc. And then analyses the data through relevant theory and software to see whether oil leakage happened. After many years development, this method is widespread in use in the oil industry.However, in order to evade pipeline's leakage monitor based on the mothod of parameter inspector, some oil-thieves drilled one hole and installed valve and tube on one side to steal oil, and on the other side drilled another hole nearby to inpour water into pipeline to balance liquid flux in the oil pipeline. If only the amount of oil exported and water imported are equivalent, the method mentioned above which is to detect oil leakage by inspecting parameters such as pressure is useless for its failure of monitoring those parameters' change. Therefor, oil-thieves can evade departments' monitor with ease, steal oil whenever they want, and destroy the oil' s quality because of inpouring water into oil pipeline, especially into the refined oil pipeline, their behavior creat huge economic loss to the country.In view of such situation, we will mark specially at some spots where are concerned to be the hole of oil stealing when we use magnetic flux leakage method to gather pipelines' flaw information, and at last with the result of equipment' s another function- pipelines' localization system, we can obtain the concrete coordinate of oil stealing happened position.We regard programmable logic device FPGA as control's core of pipeline magnetic flux leakage detecting system, research and design FPGA' s application on pipeline flaw information' s gather and storage.
