The rapid developments of digital technology and multimedia provide favorable condition for the research and applications of video communication. The multimedia technology will accelerate the progress of computer and communication services enter all respects of the family and society, and bring a deep revolution to people's life, work and amusement. However, if the Internet want provides a wide range of the multimedia applications, it still face with the problem of the QoS , which the bandwidth is insufficient to guarantee the transmission of multimedia applications. To improve the performance of the media stream system, on the one hand we can increase the transmission ability of real-time video stream to ensure the QoS; on the other hand, we should improve the efficiency of the network bandwidth to meet the demands. Based on the the video transmission system of the National Observatory , my project is majored in network streaming technology, such as unicast, multicast and broadcast protocols.My work on the video stream transportation system mainly concerned on the efficiently video coding, the real-time video stream transportation and control policy, and mainly addresse as the following:1. Aimed at the new video coding standard — h.264, I and my classmate Li Guoyuan joint research on the technology of infra-frame special prediction, and propose a new algorithms — fast texture-approaching algorithm (FTAA);2.
