In order to meet the need of embedded system market for cost, area, power dissipation and time to market, SoC (System on Chip) has become an absolutely necessary solution. Relative to traditional ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit), SoC improves the complexity remarkably, shortens the time to market and reduces the design cycle based on IP (Intellectual Property) core reusing. With the enlarging of scale and increasing of function, there are more strict requirements to SoC designing on function correctness, speed, power dissipation and reliability etc. Among these requirements, function correctness is the most important factor. At the present time, about 70% of design effort is dedicated to the function verification, while design verification takes more than half of the whole verification works. Design verification is very important but most cost in the SoC design flow. Verificating the consistency of the implementation with design specification is the main function of the design verification. In order to deal with this problem, many verification methods are presented by verification experts. To a certain extent, some methods alleviate the pressure of verification, but no breakthrough on verification is coming. So we have to integrate these methods to make the verification smoother at the present.The work of this paper is coming from the project of Electronic Science & Technology Research Institute, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China– SoC Software-Hardware Co-Verification Platform. This paper gives emphasis to the design and implementation of SoC Software-Hardware Co-Verification Platform monitor-control system. Simultaneously, the interconnection tests of SoC Software-Hardware Co-Verification Platform, the FPGA fabrics interconnection test and FPGA with I/O slots interconnection test, are presented.The main research and innovation are followings:1. Aimed at the SoC Software-Hardware Co-Verification Platform, this paper firstly designs the special power monitoring and controlling plan– SOAV (Super Open Architecture Verification) Power Monitoring and Controlling System and implements it.
