Component-based Software Reuse In Electronic Warfare Simulation System

With the rapid extension of computer application domain, and the continuous increase of software scale and complexity, the software crisis is exposed more obvious, Software reuse is the important domain of software engineering. It is the main route to solve software crisis and enhance software productivity, quality, opening and the adaptability for the out disturbance. At present, the research about software reuse based on software component is one of the key factors to realize reuse successfully.Electronic warfare ,which war with electromagnetism,is a special war mode and measure. But it is very complex and difficult to prognosticate the performance of equipment and evaluate the efficiency of electronic warfare system. Besides, there is no good environment and technique to do these works. So computer simulation is toke as an availability measure. But with the rapid extension of simulation software, and the continuous increase of software scale and complexity of electronic warfare simulation. There is much duplicate work in the development of simulation software.This paper researches the key problems concerning software development in the domain of electronic warfare simulation(EWS) with the component-based software reuse. The main contents as follows:OOA and UML is used to analyze the EWS and abstract the class diagram. Based on the class diagram, the system software components model is abstracted. At last, this paper designs the components with OOD, and implements them with COM.To manage the components effectively, this paper designs and implements the component library oriented EWS. In this paper, the key problems concerning library, included component classifying, component query, component storage and library maintenance, is solved according to the characteristics of electronic warfare domain and theory of library management system.At last, this paper researches the software development method with software components, and uses the design patterns to develop the electronic warfare system software based on HLA with existed software components.Key words: software reuse, software component, component library, electronic warfare simulation...
