Shannon limit is the limit of communication resource utilization. The main aim of coding is to construct the practical codes to approach the Shannon limit.Different channel has different Shannon limits, only the continuous input and output AWGN channel has a compact Shannon limit description. But the other channels have no brief description for the limit, so the numerical solution for the limit is needed. This paper introduces the calculation method of multi-dimension integral and linear interpolation, and indicates the usage of these numerical solution methods in the Shannon limit calculation. This paper gives the Shannon limit analysis and numerical results while the modulation is BPSK. The numerical results of different coding rate are shown. Shannon limit of BPSK formerly discusses the results in BSC, AWGN and Rayleigh channel. This paper discusses the results in Ricean channel in addition. The analysis of Rayleigh and Ricean channel are based on two cases, State Information (SI), and No State Information (NSI). While the code rate approaching to zero, the Shannon limit of BSC channel model is 0.37dB, the result of AWGN's is -1.59dB, of Rayleigh SI is -2.31dB, of Rayleigh NSI is -1.45dB, of RiceanSI is -2.31dB,and of Ricean NSI is -1.44dB. This paper gives the calculation method and numerical results while the modulation is BPSK in all these channels. In AWGN channel, this paper gives the Shannon limit analysis of BFSK coherent detection. The conclusion is made that in the same case, the Shannon limit of BFSK based on coherent detection is 3dB more than that of BPSK in BSC channel.Turbo code and LDPC code are good codes. This paper shows the coding and decoding methods of them. In AWGN channel, the simulation of them is given in this paper. Based on the simulations of the two codes, this paper gets the distance of their performance to Shannon limit. At last, this paper discusses a new type of communication method MEEC (Minimum Essential Emergency Communications). MEEC receives information...
