Power amplifier is one of the vital part in communication systems, its performance has a great influence on the whole system. As we say, no PA, no modern communication. As the rapid development of communication system in every area,power amplifier has been progressing greatly.Microwave apparatus and technologies' development are the main reason of the microwave solid state PA's progress. The development of microwave apparatus make the microwave PA's advancement possible, microwave PA also make a great progress by microwave technologies' advancement.As for the need of project exploitation, here we discuss power amplifier's design, simulation and correlative implement. the key points of the issue include:1. introduce PA's classification ,their traits and different advantages and disadvantages, briefly discuss PA's legend and their evolution trends in many countries.2.discuss PA's common theory. Discuss the design of gain and amplifier circuits' stability, make sure the stability's determinant and design methods.3. research PA's matching technology., discuss microstrip matching network's design.4. induce simulation's theory, as well as validating project's feasibility. Simulate every amplifier's matching network by ADS tool.5. Design bias and assistant circuit, realize 5.65GHz big power amplifier's hardware and performance's test.
